This report does not need configuration and has both conditions Function and Nature. In addition it can include or the account 69 in the report.

In this respect, there are distinguished three types of strategies of logistics, depending on how many intermediaries intervene in the logistic process:

·         Logistic selective Strategy: he is elected which and how many intermediaries form a part of the distribution. This choice depends on the characteristics of the product or service, on the competition and on the objective public.    

·       Logistic exclusive strategy: this strategy limits the number of points of sale only to our product and to no other.

·         Logistic intensive strategy: his aim is to include the major quantity of possible channels of distribution in order to come to the objective public. It is ideal for the consumption of massive products


The level of the service to the client is directly related to the management and efficiency of the logistic management of all the members of the channel: flows of information, of materials, of products, etc. To major efficiency, major added value will incorporate the service given to the client.

The service to the client includes diverse activities that take place before, during and after the sale. From a logistic perspective, it must assure and provide, efficiently, the following elements: availability of stock, sales order management, precision in the information, transport, sending and deliveries, etc. For it, there is necessary the maximum flexibility and coordination of all the elements that compose the operative logistics of all the companies that intervene in the channel.

This process of improvement will have to guide in any moment by the criterion of the logistic cost, bearing in mind, that:

·         The cost of the service is the balance between the availability of the product and the cost of providing the service to the client. The cost of satisfying an order is basic depending on the loyalty to the product of the client:

·         If the loyalty to the product is important, the unsatisfied order has a low cost because the consumer will wait to the resupply of the product.

·         If the loyalty to the product is weak, the cost is high for the company because the consumer will look for a substitute product.

·         Optimizing the balance between the cost of the inventory, the manufacturing cost, the cost of storage, manipulation and the cost of transport with the cost of the loss of the sales We will manage to maximize the value to the final consumer.
